Project details presented by Aldo Dure of Be Next Signs.  Using existing sign from previous store located in the plaza to install in a new storefront in the plaza.

Committee Questions, Comments, Concerns

  • How many bays do you have in the new storefront? Per AD there are 5 bays, signage was attempted to be centered above the main storefront area.
  • Are there multiple doors/entrance in the other associated storefronts?
  • Perhaps the signage needs to be restudied to make sure it is centered and flows together in some way.  Two potential options: A -- center the "family" over "beauty & hair & wigs" or B-- center "family" over the main door with "beauty & hair & wigs" over the next two bays.

Motion to table so that the signage can be restudied.

The sign contractor revised their original sign plan and submitted two options for the Committee to review electronically.  Option 1 was more linear with the signage spread out over multiple sign bays.  Option 2 was "stacked" with all the signage over the main bay/entrance.  The Committee prefered option 2.
